Artwork Print Ready Checklist:
Resolution: - 3mm bleed and 5mm safety margin on each edge.
- 100% scale.
- 1-up on a single page.
- Convert your texts to paths, curves or outlines.
- Please ensure that all images are 300 dpi.
- Nominate all colours as CMYK or Pantones (PMS).
Pictures and images that are found on the worldwide web are normally useless for printing — DO NOT USE THEM. Almost all of those images have a resolution of 72 dots per inch (72dpi or 72 pixels per inch), and they result in blurred or 'pixelated' images being printed.

Please do NOT use your designing application’s default Rich Black at all. As the application’s default rich black functions would be great for webpages and other electronic presentations, but they are not very good on printed jobs.
If you use these default black functions, then your job has a very good chance of suffering misregistration — the job might print in a blotchy way and might look dreadful.

Gradients:
Gradients are commonly used in printing and in most instances produce excellent results. Gradients can be represented in a file as a mathematical equation (Vector) or rendered by the application into a series of pixels (Raster). Whether created as rasters or vectors, gradients below 10% may not reproduce accurately.

This is what the gradient will look like on your monitor.

Gradients below 10% saturation may have a "banding" effect when printed instead of a smooth transition between colors.

Adjust the gradient to contain more than 10% saturation.
PLEASE NOTE:
Screen colours are never accurate and vary from screen to screen according to screen colour settings; please check your CMYK or Pantone (PMS) specifications.
Any files received in any colour format other than CMYK (i.e.: RGB, Lab, HSB) will still be printed and may not reproduce as your expectations; PrintNSave will not be responsible for any colour variations/errors.
